About Graphics Forge

Before founding Graphics Forge, I worked with a number of clients in the Mac & iPhone community to create stunning user-interfaces, icons and company logos, but on a part time basis.  In early 2009, with my studies finished, I decided to pursue graphics design as a full-time job, and so Graphics Forge was born.  Whilst my earlier work was focussed more on the Mac/iPhone developer community, Graphics Forge isn’t just a mac-shop – I also do company logos, business cards, flyers, advertising designs, user-interface mock-ups…the list goes on.  Any graphics you need designing, big or small, get in touch and I can give you a quote.

About Math Campbell

I’m the founder, owner, lead-artist and, well, everything of Graphics Forge.  I’m 26 years old, and I currently live in Greenock, on the west coast of Scotland, surrounded by picturesque mountains that I usually can’t see because it’s always raining!  Before founding Graphics Forge, I was a student at the University of the West of Scotland, in Paisley, where I got my BSc. in Computer Animation, made a lot of good friends and learned to always have a backup after a particularly ill-timed hard-drive death just before finals!  Aside from doing artwork, I’m also a bit of a programmer, and together with Lawrence Dudley, a photographer and international jet-setter by trade, released iPlayer Downloader, which if you’re in the UK and use a Mac you should definitely download right now, if you haven’t already.

Away from the computer, I also enjoy cookery, playing an odd assortment of musical instruments, drawing, craftwork and hill-walking.  If there’s anything else you desperately want to know, get in touch and I’ll do my best to answer your query.

This website is based upon Wordpress, an open-source CMS (content-management-system).  The theme is called “Forge-lite” and was designed by me, using some code from the popular “Pixel” theme by Sam combined with my own original artwork.  If there is sufficient demand I will upload the theme to wordpress.org for everyone to enjoy.  TO really get the most out of this site, with it’s tasteful use of CSS text-shadow effects, you really need a proper modern web-browser.  Internet Explorer is NOT one of these.  Try the excellent (and free) Safari, available for Mac & Windows, or Firefox which is also available for Mac & Windows as well as Linux!
